The first thing I'd try is this:
1. Go get the FileZ file manager.
2. Install it on the emulator.
3. Look for resource databases of type 'ovly' for which there is no
corresponding resource database of type 'appl'. By "corresponding",
I mean database that share the same creator code.
Also, what language are you using the emulated device in? I use
English, and I haven't had any problem like that, and I use
Emulator 3.5 with an m505 debug ROM. (However, I do run it
on the Mac and not the PC.)
