I've had no problems calling SndSetDefaultValue() in my SkinTW!
application (Tapwave Zodiac) to temporarily change volume before
emitting a keyclick sound for on-screen DIA keyboards. I realize one
isn't supposed to do it, but many of the most fun PalmOS things are
things one isn't supposed to do, and may be OK if you make sure you know
the hardware you are running on.
