Update... I found a DBCache Tool discussed here:-

I can now run my test succesfully if I get DBCache Tool to clear the cache (although this can sometimes take 10secs+). IMO this proves the cache can be cleared programmatically. Anyone found a way to do this yet? I will continue trying and if I succeed will post my soultion, as this now seems to be affecting a lot of people. Of course it would be nice if PalmOne would issue the fix, but I'm not holding my breath!
