thanks for your advice.
Unfortunatelly for me, cygwin download is still complicated as before. Even
if the page states that it is just a dll, the setup program offers megabytes
of downloads (mentioned in the page itself), and I do not have any idea of
which of them have to be selected to run with prc-tools.

www.cygwin.com + prc-tools is very easy to install and use. PODS would
do a similar task.
