To answer one of your other questions, there isn't a documented/approved way to purge the whole DB cache, however, you can find a hackish way to purge it yourself here: http://hazelware.luggle.com/archive.html?69

I have one Treo beta tester simply reporting crashes and one reporting it gets part way through the major load loop and then grinds to a halt (I imagine once it hits or approaches the DBCache limit) -- meaning gets very very slow. So far the T5 Simulator works fine (but I can't really judge performance, obviously); I'll try others. (Do the various Simulators all properly simulate NVFS behavior?) I'll try to clarify OS versions with my crashing person... But I'm not sure what I really need to do. You seem to be suggesting that it *should* still work fine as is... on newer OS versions at least. So if I can confirm that the crashes are early versions of the OS, an upgrade is what I'll recommend to get past crashes??? (It is possible my crashes are something else...but I believe in some manner they are NVFS-related.) -- For information on using the PalmSource Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/ -- For information on using the PalmSource Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
