Hmmm and what determines "poor coding practices....."
someone's interpretation on how to code, or the difference between someone's style of programming verses someone else's method. There is no one set way to program, there are more efficient ways to code the same thing, but as Microsoft has shown us, it either works or it dont. I am fairly new at this, and as no one teaches the syntax for the API's for PALM, except what is repeted over and over in books, the only way to learn is to apply basic C coding priciples to the PALM API. Sometimes this requires getting code to work, then figuring out how to re-work it to be more efficient and less code. So Poor pratices are really an attempt to figure out how to accomplish something one way before changing it to be another way.
