Received. I am recently off the office till end of the week, but
will try to build something matching your psml and give it a ride
when I'm back.

I assume that asking what version of instaler you use is quite pointless ;)

I hope to see the installer (perfectly) open sourced - we'd then check
that deeply and fix (not to mention it simply lacks some features I'd
love to add). Writting own installer would cost more than fixing the
existing one. I can even volunteer to work on this. Is Palm interested
to see this tool being widely used - I got some doubts ;(
