I don't find the OCCASIONAL recruit attempt offensive, I'd get a little

I'm a recruiter and I do post an occasional recruiting ad for a PalmOS
developer on this list. I do it for these reasons:
1. the people who read this list are Palm developers.
2. the list's rules do not forbid the posting.
Having said this, I also try to use some common sense when posting:
I make it clear in the subject line that I am a recruiter and that this
is a job ad.
I clearly state that replies should be off-list
And I try to give enough details in the ad to make it useful.
If this list banned such posts, I'd stop posting. If I've offended
anyone, I'd like to know it.
That's my thoughts.
Replies either on or off list.
