Ok, I understand that. But I am confused on how to define the font
and what the [FONT <FontId.n>] looks like when you add it to the
button description?

How can I just say use the same font but make the size smaller.

Up to my knowledge, you can not just say th font to be smaller: you have to define a new font. The PalmOS documentation (Palm OS Programmer's Companion, 8 Text, Fonts, Creating Custom Fonts) sugest to use xfont + pilrc. Using that, I've been able to _programaticaly_ set a Field's font to my new defined font(FldSetFont()). However, I've never used it for a button. Neither I have been able to define the field to use that font at design time, while writing the .xrd file. If you explore further and finally can do it, I would appreciate some report here.
