I think that this slot issue in resolver is currently the only important 
problem of paludis I know about. With correct slot dependencies handling 
paludis would be just perfect. This makes me crazy especially for KDE ebuilds 
as I have both KDE4 and KDE 3.5 packages installed but paludis offers updates 
only for KDE4 :-(
