BTW, I have run into problems with IO-Compress-BZip2. Paludis did not want to update everything because dev-perl/IO-Compress-BZip2 was not found int package tree.
What did surprise me when I have accidentally run python-updater (just "python-updater -p") he has updated my VDB-tree with some of "/usr/portage/profiles/update/*" files... Then I can run "paludis -i everything" without any problems. So question is what user should to do when Gentoo guys have placed some new update files into "/usr/portage/profiles/update/*"? I have seen in Paludis Trac short post about experemental update.rb script but there is no any information about this script in Paludis FAQ or installation guide. -- Sergey Zolotorev _______________________________________________ paludis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pioto.org/mailman/listinfo/paludis-user
