Oh, I know what it is. We only update the cache file if we actually carry out updates. Since carrying out updates isn't on by default yet, that file will only be created whenever updates are performed. It's probably not ideal, but it's a temporary thing. I've yet to hear anyone scream about updates hosing their vdb, so they'll probably be enabled by default soon. -- Ciaran McCreesh
