Virginia, from my personal point of view it goes something like this...I
want to have a browser open to search for cardmodels...I want to have an
email client open to accept emails from the card group, I want to have
one or two card model .pdfs open to look at how difficult they might be
to build and maybe another open to print and then I want to be doing a
couple of other things at the same time...all cardmodel related of
course !!,....now in Windows I have the one desktop...I can either open
everything and then minimise them on the taskbar and have on the desktop
one at a time OR I can jam them one on top of the other and continually
alt+tab back and forth betwen them OR I can use virtual desktops to open
one on each desktop and simply, in my case anyway, use my mouse scroll
wheel to rotate from one desktop to another quickly. It makes life a lot
easier. Hope this explains it adequately.
