Bob,

I'd kiss you on the mouth, but I think your moustache would tickle. I've been
trying to figure out a different way to store my models files. I've got a 2 GB
jump drive i've never even USED.

Next time I'm at OCIPMS I owe you a drink. (Probably coffee at the
after-meeting Denny's slog, but hey, I'd buy! <VBG>)

  Hi Cat,
I received the following from one of my sons. Appears he may be in a similar
business as you?
  Bob Penikas

That's why you back everything up on DVD, or now JUMP DRIVES, and just use
the 500GB or 750GB external hard drives to keep the files as "working" files.

You can also get a web domain and store all of the info in CYBERSPACE so it
will always be there, where ever you may be.

It's great to carry a jump drive on your key chain. No one will ever have to
burn you a disc anymore, they can just copy it to your keychain!

Jump drives have no moving parts either.

We use 2 or 3GB jump drives on movie sets to exchange continuity info from
dept to dept. No more running out of POLAROID film.

Also, for our pending European tour, everyone has the EMERGENCY CONTACT INFO
on a jump drive on their person.

They are good things. I thinks it part of the "nano" technology, but Dave
would know more.

Funny, I have a 16GB jump drive on my keychain. My back-up computer at the
studio, the G4 mini-tower, has 3 GB of space on it.

  Amazing.
