Subject: [Papermodels II 32850] Re: LaCie external HD

I recently had on my desk three Terabytes of disk storage. No
kidding. A seagate 1T usb, two seagate 500g usb, a seagate 500g on
firewire, and two 300g WD on usb. Guess what. When they fall to the
hard tile floor while working because the desk is moved and the cables
are tied to an anchor on the wall... well... they stop working! I
lost the 1T, and three 500g usbs. That is a LOT of data! Not many
backups. Saved ALL the paper models and ALL the iTunes and movies.
Lost loads of raw data in books, files, home video, etc.

I weep

I get over it

Then I hear your stories and I weep again.
