You could just rig a set of shear legs one the aft deck with the engine 
hanging and everyone off for Mittagessen. No need for a diorama as such

I'm going to figure out some way to make the rear top deck removeable and not 
glue the engine in place so it can be lifted out.



Or something like that.



I like the servicing idea but lack the space for a diorama that size to do it 
justice.

    How about a diorama of the tank being built or serviced? That would 
provide a reason for the engine to me out as well as other areas open 
for observation.
