Wolfgang...I simply right clicked on the install file and selected "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader" (standard stuff) and away she went. One thing I have noticed though is that when the viewer opens it puts up an error box but I just close it and the program starts fine. I'm assuming you have the latest updates from Wine HQ although mine has been running Pepakura for some time on an older version of Wine. Not sure why yours wouldn't follow up with the full install. What distro are you using ?.
