What I found interesting was the dead guy was derided for trying to reinvent the original show. This is VERY evocative of what the Trekkies have been doing with J.J. Abrams new version of Star Trek.
As for the blood, Kirk got his lip bloodied fairly often, and in TOS episode #52 "Patterns of Force", spock was stripped to the waist and whipped, showing green blood on his back. Thank goodness for the Star Trek Encyclopedia. <G> Paul M. ----- Original Message ----- From: "alien8er" <[email protected]> To: "Papermodels II" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 17, 2009 3:35 AM Subject: [Papermodels II 35865] Re: CSI's Star Trek homage On Apr 16, 10:16 pm, "Paul McCool" <[email protected]> wrote: > Anybody catch tonight's CSI, with the Star Trek Convention theme? Smoking lightning-bolt wound on Spock's back, yes, but blood? > The tall, red-haired, bespectacled geek in the episode was played by > Patrick Bristow, an acquaintance of ours.
