Libertarian just means we hate the gov. telling us what kind of light bulb we have to buy. :-) Or anything else for that matter. I talked to a lighting tech. that does big corporate install of "green" lighting, an he said that older lights had mercury but the new ones do not. We are correct on the voltage , gotta keep it up in normal range. He also gave same advice as to seeking out a store that specializes in lighting. There are a lot of new cfl lights out now that provide a brighter, crisper light.
