I work mostly in 1/144 scale making and furnishing houses and buildings, but
they're always set in rather large elaborate scenes. Right now I'm working on
an extensive beachfront scene. It will have several buildings, but only the
main house will be furnished. One of the bedrooms will be a young boy's room,
decorated in a nautical theme. I'd like to make a lighthouse to stand in the
corner of his room that will serve as the main light source for his room. It
will be wired with a tiny LED in the top portion of the lighthouse (which will
be made with a transparency to resemble glass). I'm looking for a model of a
lighthouse that, when completed, would be no more than about an inch tall. In
this scale, even that is really large - 3/4 inch would be even better. The room
will be done in mostly reds and blues so a lighthouse that could coordinate
with that would be wonderful. Does anyone out there have anything that would
even come close to what I'm
looking for. I can resize if necessary, but I need one that really doesn't
have many parts that when converted to this size would be too tiny to
manipulate. I'm good at working with tiny pieces, but even so, some paper
models have pieces that are almost too small when they're made full size.
