You are not alone in that regard: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=4552529&id=310066837431 The Keelines own the two airships built for the never-filmed 1967-69 Tom Swift film, and hope to restore at least one of them to a display-worthy condition. The 'ships spent years in crates sitting in the Arizona desert somewhere, and are in sad shape; once their previous owner discovered that they were never meant to actually fly, he lost interest. Kim also took photos (not in that album) of "Glenn Curtis" holding the wood-and-brass steering wheel from the 'ship. > Over the years I > have met many authors, scientists and astronauts and almost all of them were > Tom fans. I gather there have been other one-off TS cons around the country, though, so it's always a possibility. -- Mike Hungerford http://www.chthulhu.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
