Hello, I've posted plans for a new sphere model (Sphere Model 3) at: http://www.gnu.org/software/3dldf/graphics/sphrmd03.pdf (PDF file).
This file, the GNU 3DLDF source code, a TeX file for including the images, the plans in PostScript format, as well as compressed PostScript and PDF files are available here: http://www.gnu.org/software/3dldf/sphrdmmd.html#Sphere_Models These are the most complex plans I've made yet and I'm sure it will be a challenge cutting them out and assembling the model (I haven't started on this yet). It consists of 264 triangles. For this model, I've only posted a version with double-tabs which must be cut out separately. I think the better alignment of the pieces is worth the extra work. These plans have crosshairs for pricking holes for sewing the model together. However, it could also just be glued, without sewing. There's more information on the plans, if anyone wants to give them a try. Laurence Finston -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
