Do you mean all those unfinished models stored away in my garage are possibly
not my frustrated inability?

Subject: [Papermodels II 44044] (Engaging rant mode) Never again ...

... will I even consider attempting to build a paper model whose
designer has not provided photographic evidence of having successfully
built one himself. I know I'm guilty of this omission myself, but at
least I get someone to beta build for me and assure me that everything
works, including the instructions.

I have attempted builds of at least six models from one particular
designer (who shall remain nameless) of mostly SF models, and have
only ever managed to complete one of those with the result actually
resembling the original subject, and that after several reprints and
much cutting and replacing of already-installed parts and assemblies.

My current attempt to build one of his models will probably require a
complete redraw to make parts fit one another.
