I am currently building a BV-141 WWII German observation plane for my
brother-in-law for an asymmetric demonstration. The kit has a basic interior I
am enhancing with more detail. After coloring the insides of the panel frames,
I cover the inside with clear packing tape. Then I did a test strip using
white glue then one of my wife's craft products, Ranger "Glossy Accents", to
seal the outside. This fills the outer panel without covering the outer frame
with glossy tape. This is my first try and I had a few bubbles and flow marks,
but it illustrates the clarity and that it can be done better. Since then
entire top of the offset cockpit is glass and the bottom of the nose is the
same, this gives a much better look into the enhanced interior with details
like the stirrup mounted rudder pedals.
