Just FYI, I have added a "Breaking News" (pun intended) section on http://par.perl.org/ that refers to this thread. It says: PAR built with Archive::Zip 1.09 is known to emit lots of unneccessary warnings. Details are available [here]. We are working with Archive::Zip's author, Ned Konz, to hopefully resolve this issue by Archive::Zip 1.10. I'm getting loads of bug reports on this one... Thanks, /Autrijus/
