incompatible features?

I have now spent a full day hacking around with various tests, reading 
postings, etc,  to see if I can get PAR remote fetching (e.g. use PAR 
"http://website/path/file.par";) to work inside a pp generated exe 
without it getting stuck on not finding LWP::Simple.  It would seem the 
two featues are not compatible.  If they are incompatible, should the 
documentation be updated to reflect that?  If anyone wants sample 
code/notes of what I did, I can provide them (no point cluttering things 
up here unless they are needed).

Is there a simple solution before I just write my own tool using 
LWP::Simple::mirror and ignore the remote fetching feature in PAR?
