This is just a reminder that when you do, I have answered your questions 
on this problem and am waiting hopefully for a reply :)

In the meantime if anyone else has any advice it'd be much appreciated.

So it seems that the nonworking one misses out some Win32 libraries 
and some things ending in ".exp".
