Dear All,

I have a problem running executables on Linux and WinXP. It looks a bit similar to the problem reported by Mike campbell, 'program too big to fit in memory' when running under cygwin'.

.par files run fine, but once turned into an executable with 'pp -o foo foo.pl' even a simple 'Hello world..' script generates an error like 'Cannot allocate memory...' (Linux) or 'Program too big to fit in memory...' (WinXP).

Any suggestions about the cause of this problem?

Thanx in advance,

Wil Peters.
