Maybe splash screen, a common enough operation, should be a PAR feature?
I don't agree. I'm using PAR all the time for my pVoice applications, which also use splashscreens (using Wx::Perl::SplashFast), and it's visible quite fast enough
Different applications are different sizes/complexities, and Mr Arnold appears to have encountered a situation where it isn't fast enough.
I'm glad you are having success with the performance of your application.
