Hello, I am very new to PAR and have been struggling for the past few days. I ended up writing a simple hello world script and compiled it. The resulting hello.cgi runs great on the machine where I compiled it.
I understand that the resulting binary should run as a standalone appication but when I moved it to another server with a different version of perl it gives the following error: Goto undefined subroutine &DynaLoader::bootstrap_inherit at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/XSLoader.pm line 95. Seems I am doing something wrong. I have tried playing around with the options and used the -vvv switch to see any errors but I seem out of beginner's luck. the machine where I am compiling is: OS FC2 Perl version 5.8.3 The machine I am trying to execute: OS FC3 Perl version 5.8.5 Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
