Hi all. First I just subscribed to this list, and have yet to see a
post or a FAQ on it....so sorry if this has been asked before and/or
if I'm breaching list etiquette.
I'm running under Mac OS X 10.4.1 (Tiger)
I previously installed these modules which I believe covered all the
requirements for PAR (and then some):
XML::NamespaceSupport (XML-NamespaceSupport-1.09)
XML::SAX::PurePerl (XML-SAX-0.12)
XML::Simple (XML-Simple-2.14)
HTML::Tagset (HTML-Tagset-3.04)
LWP::Simple (libwww-perl-5.803)
Module::ScanDeps
PAR::Dist
I grabbed the latest PAR package, and did the perl Makefile.PL. It
seemed to generate the make just fine. Then I ran make. That seemed
to work ok.
Then I ran make test. Almost every test failed. As far as I could
tell the scripts were getting file not found errors on files it was
supposed to be creating (the filename.par file) I tried running with
sudo in case it was a permission issue, but that didn't work any better.
I've spent a while searching etc. and haven't found anyone else with
this problem. It isn't an issue with Mac OS X 10.4.1 is it?
