Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm using the --icon option and the executable produced has the icon
specified. However, when pp unpacks the app and puts it in my Documents and
Settings\Local Settings\{UserName}-par area the startup executable has the
Camel icon.
Did you manage to get pp to use the --icon on the executable? I'm truing to
set this icon plus the file information so that the Windows firewall reports
my application details and icon...

I'm not sure I can be of that much help, appart from reporting what I
managed to do: I created icons with VS and IrfanView (I mean I tried with
both and was successful with both) and specified them with "--icon
[...].ico" and it worked!
If you are in doubt about whether your icons are valid or not I would
suggest you to give it a go with a Windows one...
