Preflight: PAR 0.958 with parl-regenerating pp goodness

Hi list,

I finished the implementation and testing of the parl-regenerating code 
in PAR::Packer (which is the heart of pp). Since quite a bit of change 
has accumulated for the 0.958 release, I'd like to push that out of the 
door soonish. If all works well, this should rid us of the hard-to-debug 
errors resulting from incompatible modules embedded in parl.

For this, I need your help: Please test PAR 0.958. You can fetch the 
distribution from 
http://steffen-mueller.net/tmp/PAR-0.958-DEVELOPMENT.tar.gz and you can 
find a win32 .par binary in the same directory. (But this one lacks the 
DEVELOPMENT tag.)

P.S.: The "make par" step on win32 hasn't finished yet. I'll upload the
