AutoLoader is part of the core Perl distribution. However, I found a
bug somewhen and AutoLoader was subsequently made "dual-lived", i.e. a
module that has a version on CPAN and in the Perl core. The CPAN
module and the core of the current development version of Perl are
kept in sync. The CPAN version is sort of an "upgrade" to older Perls.
The higher (5.63) version of AutoLoader was made a requirement to fix
a bug which was triggered by PAR.

PAR is soooo useful. Even for polishing other modules! PAR rocks!
Now, about that empty @INC ...
I was going to do diffs on 0.73 versus 0.70, or anything else earlier
than 0.73. However, I no longer have the older files. The latest
openfoundry.org checking is 433, so I tried the last three, ending with
svn checkout -r430 http://svn.openfoundry.org/par/trunk
but they all yeild PAR with version numbers 0.73.
How can I get earlier versions of PAR and pp so that I can do diffs?
Or maybe someone else is already digging into this. Is anyone?
Thanks
