Anyone remember "only avaliable with the XS version"?

Hi par@perl.org,

does anyone remember the venerable "$foo only avaliable with the XS 
version" (of Scalar::Util) error with PAR::Packer?

Michael Schwern tracked it down to being an issue with wrong ordering of 
@INC paths. par.pl seems to get it wrong in at least two places, he 
said, and we seem to have found an issue in main.c where there might be 
a problem with char **fakeargv's order and/or memory allocation.

I'm currently writing up my thesis, so I can't work on this in the 
coming weeks. This is mostly a heads-up so the information from Schwern 
won't get lost. (Thanks by the way, if you read this!) Mad props to 
anybody who manages to fix this before I get around to.
