Do you have a compiler installed (and configured for Perl)? If so, which
compiler were you using?
If anything else fails, you can install a PPM binary from the bribes.org
or theoryx5 (Randy Kobes') PPM repositories, but if this is indeed an
intrinsic PAR issue, I'd prefer to find out what's going wrong.
