Yes, those two are quite old but doesn't look like then need much modification. 
I couldn't find anything that needs to be changed but I'm quite new to this. 
There are some other utilies like pare which I guess it not installed but is 
included in the tarball. There's also gpp (gui_pp) is that now known as tkpp?
