I discovered a number of places where one file or the other needed fixing.
I suspect that some of these still exist, and if they could be fixed,
there would be potential for even more elimination of duplicate code.
When you start to look closely at code for the purpose of refactoring it
into modules, writing unit tests, etc., this is what usually happens.
This is good progress. I hope to look at your second patch tonight.
