Are there any library cleanups and bug fixes that are in progress for edge that are good candidates for 1.8.3? The one I can think of now is what Jim is working on to fix the 2048-byte sector problem. Anyone else have anything of note?
What about getting Parted to compile on Hurd based systems? As far as I know it has not been building from 1.7.1. There were 3 issues, out of which 3 are fixed. If you are in a hurry, then I can speed-up a bit and provide the FDASD patch sooner than later.
