Hello list In the ongoing effort to solve the mailing-list bugs...
This patchset contains stuff from Petr Uzel and Matthew S. Harris. I belive, in Petr's case I did not change anything from hi original post (after some review) to the list. I _did_ do some little changes to Matthew's patch (hope you don't mind) I'm pretty sure that the last patch needs some work. ATM it tests correctly, but I would like to see something more genering. I post it to the list so ppl can comment. Questions arised from this patch related to the mdadm command. Is that the right way to test the presense of the command? Should we have a dm libraty? is the lvm-lib.sh file the dm library? should this file be renamed to something more generic, like dm-library? Also, and relating the patchset to what has been discussed with Jim about the comments, should we start commenting the functions that have no documentation (like the _skip_entry) function in libparted/arch/linux.c? As always. Comments and corrections are greatly appreciated. Regards.
