Based on your recommendations Bob picked up a pristine (not a scratch, no signs 
of use whatsoever) Acer Aspire One.  The netbook was for the seller's 
girlfriend, but she never used it.  Bob loves it when people have fire sales in 
the local classifieds...  though he felt a little sad for the seller when he 
saw an engagement ring as one of his sale items.  OUCH!!!

Anywho, here are the specs:

Aspire One D255-1268
Intel Atom N550
1GB DDR3 (expandable to 2GB for $20)
250GB HDD
Windows 7 Starter 32-bit
Manufactured 2010
