Izwe Lethu!

MoAfrika Sinethemba never cease to disappoint me with his lack of
political understanding and his resistence to apply logic and reason to
his thinking and analysis of political developments. It is a shame that
the PAC currently boast with this type of members who over simplyfy issues
and prescribe quick fix solutions on complex matters. Your contribution of
14 May 2009 confirms the above observation.

Dr Pheko "opportunistic and rapacious": If the conclusion is founded on
the recent Judgement in favour of Dr Pheko, then the attack is foolish and
founded on ignorance in legal matters. Dr Pheko has proven his love for
the PAC over time, the same cannot be said about Mphahlele you blindly
follow. Dr Pheko had an opportunity to utilize the floor crossing period
like many who did so,but he did not. He remained a committed PAC
member, despite the NEC decision to expel him. Dr Pheko was entitled to a
right to appeal the decision of the NEC and appeal to the National
Congress. He did so to the so called Fort Hare illegitimate Congress and
party constitution was flouted by Mphahlele and Skhwatsha in desperation
to substitute Dr Pheko on the Party seat in Parliament. As a committed PAC
leader Dr Pheko felt duty bound to defend party constitution and applied
for Court interdict. The PAC under Letlapa was given enough time to refute
what was presented in the High Court, but they chose not to do so. You
cannot therefore blame Dr Pheko for your Leaders failure. In reality
people who deserve to be labelled opportunistc and rapacious is Mphahlele
and his crew.

Pheko lost respect
Dr Pheko remains respected in the Pan Africanist circles, the same cannot
be said about Mphahlele and his veranda boy Skhwasha. Part of the reason
why Dr Pheko went to court was to defend his dignity and personality.
Ofcourse Mphahlele cannot compare himself to Dr Pheko as he has no
reputation to defend and deserve no respect from any self-respecting Pan
Africanist. Dr Pheko was not going to allow non PAC voting cattles to
decide his fate having served PAC for almost 5 decades, what an insult. He
went to court to defend PAC from a Dictator,Mphahlele. He went to court to
Defend PAC constitution. He went to court to defend the image that is
being rubbished by Mphahlele. He went to court to defend PAC
norms, traditions and values and lastly he went to court to defend the
legacy of Sobukwe,Mothopeng,Madzunya,Phama,Masemola,Sibeko and Ngendane,to
name but a few. I agree with you child of the soil,we must not only preach
the gospel but we must also live it,but can you please practise it as well
my dear Pan Africanist.

It is important to advise our fellow young Pan Africanist that our
revolution is for Justice, emancipation of african people and establishment
of the Unite Socialist States of Africa not fundamentalism and
heroworshipping individuals or adolising PAC over and above the Pan
Africanist cause, mind you PAC is just a vehicle we use towards the
altimate goal.

Dr Pheko stand with progressive forces that seek to rescue the party from
anarchist led by Mphahlele. I call upon cde Senethemba to repent and join
those who are on the side of history and who stand for justice, join while
its still early. The wheel of revolution is revolving and grinding,it is
merciless to those who stand against its revolution. Don't be among those
who would be judged by history harshly. I am looking foward to see you in
the Mayihlome Annual Lecture and the Gathering of Pan Africanist. Listen
to the voice of reason.
