Greetings Comrade Popo, It is with great pleasure to see your contributions again on this network. I expert serious debates on this issue which is a good thing as it would sharpen our understanding of political issues, PAC policies and enable us to point mishaps in our individial and collective thinking. Unfortunately on this score I disagree totally with your input. This input is sensational, lacks thorough analysis and reflects complete ignorance of the subject under review. Comparisons are wrongly premised and completely unfounded. The document never cease to compare apples and pumkins, which does not do justice to the arguments presented. I don't remember any indigenisation policy of the PAC, remind please. I think it is extremely important that we acquant ourselves with concepts we define as foreign before we reject them as foreign.
Nationalisation to me and to many revolutionaries within our movement who support this view means, National resources should be at the hands of the nation as opposed to foreign firms and local bougeous class. It means equitable distribution of benefits accrued from these national resources. It means our trusted and democratically elected representatives should conrtol and discribute these resources for the economic and social development of the nation. To the assertion that we have no nation, I think such thinking is flawed expecially from an Africanist perspective. As Pan Africanist we are struggling on behalf of a nation that exist and that Nation is African. I would delve deeper on the issues you raise in the next few weeks, as it is excremely critical that we present water tight arguments when we debate in keeping with Pan Africanist tradition. We should ensure that our arguments are logical, fact oriented, sophisticated and theoretically loaded in order to discredit charterist and vanquish SACP "Quirks".
