Some of us decided to participate in the congress that was in
Butterworth, while many decided stay away. But one thing I know
majority of those who stayed away, want Letlapa out & gone. But those
who stayed away are divided also on the steps to be taken to do away
with Letlapa. One put their hopes on the court procedings, while the
other group is talking about some platform that will deliberate and
give direction. To the second group how are we going to do that
without being seen as that group against that group? We have tried
platforms, but we have been pin pointed as another group within PAC.
Had we followed in big numbers the resolution of PAC Indaba in
Orlando, which was to say we will try all avenues to get PAC,
therefore if the congress is taking place we will participate, while
on the other side the court application is taking place, may be things
could have been better. But we decide to go against the resolution
including those who were there when the resolution was taken. Those
whose hope is the court ruling only, let us be hypothetical preparing
our hearts for worse. What if the court rule against us, who want
Letlapa? What then? Because the idea behind participating in
Butterworth was not to say we support and stand by Letlapa, but was to
try anything to get PAC out of the control of Letlapa.
