Comrades, I am quite certain there will come a time, hopefully soon, when we in the party can exercise our minds a little more and deeper. It would be interesting for instance to read and place ourselves beyond the structure of elections as currently defined and pre-defined. Just to pick the smallest but significant example: how do we fill the message gap which I believe is much louder than what many in our party focus themselves on. There is significant majority of people who don't participate in these electoral gimmicks and those who participate by acquiescence. Have we thought of what exactly do these people want, I don't think so. My thought is that they want a revolution, an uprising and a total dismantle of the status quo. And I am one of them ! This is the gap that remains unfilled.
Just a small pointer and a question on whether we do think a little more than outside the defined lines. Afrika our land. In fact my wish is to see the PAC running the affairs of the country one day and not to regain the seats the PAC lost during floor-crossing. Leaders come and go, if a leader is not visionary and cannot articulate PAC policies, that person must be replaced. We should not be liberal. What reduced the PAC to this size is liberalism and egoism. The PAC needs leaders who are willing to talk and repond to people's outcry on daily basis. Talking about land is a cornerstone but a leader must simplify that because nowadays a sizeable electorate do not understand the meaning land. Imagine a huge support we could draw if the PAC leaders were willing to talk about the ff: fuel price, tollgates, e-tolls, free education, corruption. All these aspects are based on land. l hope these elections will draw a lesson to PAC king-makers. -- -- Sending your posting to [email protected] Unsubscribe by sending an email to [email protected] You can also visit http://groups.google.com/group/payco Visit our website at www.mayihlome.wordpress.com --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pan Africanist Youth Congress" group.
