Good evening everyone,
I'm trying to make a recording using Nero Sound Tracks and Wave Editor.
I'm trying to record a BBC Segment via the PC. In previous editions of
Windows there is a What You Hear Option in volume control you needed to
enable so you could adjust it's settings. I'm using Windows XP Home, and am
trying to enable this function in order to make this recording. I tried
recording this interview several times with both Nero Sound Tracks, and Wave
Editor, but hear no sound when I play the recording back. I did some
editing on a music file in Wave Editor, and all worked fine. I believe What
You Hear is under the advanced settings in previous Windows versions like 98
SE for example. Is it known by a different name in XP? I guess I have a
two-part question. Firstly I need to know how to Enable What You Hear in
the volume control, and what may be causing my files not to be heard in Nero
Wave Editor, and Sound Tracks. I'm using a demo of the Nero audio
production software suite which is due to expire next week. I plan to pay
for it before then to make it a fully-functioning version. Although this is
currently demo software I'm able to record, but am not hearing any sound
when I'm done. Your help in figuring out what's going on here will be
greatly appreciated.
