Hi, I'll try to answer each question below to make it more clear.

Raul writes:
That is correct. I did say in my original message or thought I did that you would
have to use the stereo
version of the
linerec input plugin.

Raul writes:
For this to work you must use a dsp stacker. In the dsp stacker you choose the
limiter first and then the shoutcast plugin
or the sam encoders depending on which one you will use for your broadcasting out to
the net. If you choose the shoutcast
plugin do not use the advanced features.

Raul writes:
For some reason the volumes get changed and I do not remember why that is. Just do
not use the advanced controls and
instead control your microphone's mute from the playback controls. You can access the
playback controls by typing sndvol32
from the run dialog. Usually by default the mic volume/mute control is not shown so
you will have to check this to be shown
from the properties of this window.

Raul writes:
The sam encoders would take the place of the shoutcast plugin. There would be no need
to use both. With the sam encoders
you do not have to broadcast out in mp3-pro only. You can choose many different
formats depending on what encoder you have
installed in your computer. I broadcast out to acbri using 56 kbps 22.050 hz although
in the sam encoders they are listed
as 22.1 khz it really is 22,050 hz, go figure. I personally prefer the sam encoders
because while they are trying to
connect to a stream they do not bring your computer down to a crawl like the shoutcast
plugin does and also because you can
broadcast out to more than one server at the same time. This allows me to broadcast
out to my own personal shoutcast
server at 96 kbps and that is what I use for my archives for my shows. You can
listen to my archives to see how the
compression is working which is processed on both music and my voice.

Hope I've answered your questions clearly. Feel free to ask away if something is not
clear.
