For any one interested, NFL Field Pass has great audio on most of their feeds, and if you buy now it is only $29.

The mlb gameday audio this year is terrible. It's a crying shame that it
sounds that bad. You might try mlb.tv for better sounding audio, and fewer
drop-outs. You do have to pay for it though, and some of the games are
blacked out as well, but the quality is much, and I mean much better than
the lousy game day audio crap. If you use real player as your default, some
of the games are even in stereo. Don't waste your time with gameday audio.
I've complained to the technical support staff of mlb, but they are
clueless, so you won't get any help out of them. .

True, but I only have the dropouts in audio when the announcer is between
frazes, like it's with their technology rather than my stream.

Yes, I've had the same software issue. I just close the player window and
re-click the link featuring the game I want.

If you use the mouse-pointer (assuming you use Window-eyes) there is an
icon
that says something like "change preferences" or something close to that.
The audio--despite come of the things I have read on this list----is a far
cry from what it was last year with a broadband connection. It's so bad,
they should almost be paying me to have it, but I'm a baseball nut so I'm
an
easy sell.

Hope that helps, if not let me know off list...Chuck
