I'm not really positive, but I've been told that it's the field strength
that makes the difference. Since 1985 I've been running some type of
transmitter all of strengths of 1 to 3 blocks with the Ramsey stuff the
strongest and I've never had a problem, probably because I have sense enough
not to interfere with anybody else. I also don't transmit rap or any
synthesized speech unless I can help it. I decided LONG AGO I wanted
external speech, which brought me to the Dec Talk Express, one of the most
higher, overpriced pieces of equipment I have ever used, but that's another
topic.
